"Rejoice as you share in Christ's sufferings, and you will rejoice when His glory is revealed."
1 Peter 4:13
Real Stories.
Honest Conversations.
Radical Hope.

I'm Joy Jensen, and I created my blog joyfilled to empower a multigenerational community of Christian women with the joy and hope of dwelling in their Christ-appointed identities. Though tragedies and traumas of this world threaten to undermine our joy, they truly hold no power over the enduring hope that we cling to in Christ. In fact, suffering allows us to better relate to the person of Christ and develop meaningful intimacy with Him, which is a joy that cannot be shaken. This blog is dedicated to sharing the Lord's presence in my own journey of mental illness, as well as the openness of discussing common afflictions of the flesh in our modern society. Consulting with science and remaining grounded in Scripture, we'll explore what it truly is to embrace spiritual joy through adversity--even when our own minds and bodies seem to betray us.
Welcome!
"In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."
